Katydid is a small letterpress printing company that uses a cast-iron press from 1891. Everything starts with a drawing on paper. Each color is printed one at a time on thick, 100% cotton stock, and each piece is die-cut or folded using the press. We thread and package every ornament and gift tag ourselves.

This fastidious, labor-intensive act of love is what makes our Circle of Lights line so unique. Every card, ornament, and gift tag is truly handmade, with a tactile quality only possible with the letterpress printing process. For over ten years they have been a beloved part of the holiday season in Indiana.
